Guest guest
, I sure hope this is a turning point for . You guys need a break! As for the insurance, I work for 12 orthopedic surgeons and I'm well aware of the hassles insurance company's create! BE PERSISTANT! Get your docs to write letters to the ins co, don't let them off the hook, that's what you pay premiums for. If there is a specific doc that needs to see get all the documentation together you can and bombard them with it. I'm sure you have some kind of " out of plan " benefits. Even if you don't I don't beleive they can ultimately refuse to pay. Get your " in plan " docs to write and state WHY needs to be an exception to their stupid rules. Hang in there.Good Luck. Hi Beverly! Don't forget any meds you take before surgery. Just make sure you ask Dr. K about them before taking them. YOUR pillow, if you have a hard time with hotel pillows (I do). Guest guest
Thank you, Lucy. I still can't believe that this is finally happening! Good to hear that you're feeling so much better. > > msmith, Just wanted to wish you all the best with your surgery. I am very grateful that I had mine. My recovery has been up and down, mostly up. I feel good today, much better than I have felt for years. I did not expect low K symptoms to return, which they did, but since my K is normal, my BP is decreasing (116/70 today)with only half of one of two BP meds I was taking, and more energy, I believe those symptoms are just my body adjusting to only one adrenal gland. I look forward to hearing how everything goes. You will be in my prayers. ~Lucy >

Guest guest
Some decisions are easier to make then others like having an appendectomy. If DX with appendicitis odds are if you don't have one you don't have a very good out come. > > > > > > > > > > msmith, Just wanted to wish you all the best with your surgery. Guest guest
Dr. Grim, My K was 4.2 five days after the surgery; 3.8 fourteen days afterwards; and 4.4 nineteen days afterwards. When I wrote " my recovery has been up & down, " I meant that I have been experiencing symptoms of low K (tingling, fatigue & headaches) & some abdominal pain on & off. I am attributing the low K symptoms to my body adjusting to one adrenal gland. Does that make sense?
