Bruce, Just for kicks, I did some searching on the effects different colors have on people. I'm not trying to change the way you feel about having red on the hand grips, but I thought you might find these various bits of info interesting. My favorite color is blue, but if the following quotes have any truth to them, I think I might like red grips for their "energizing effect"!Red

is an energizing color. This color enhances the feelings of survival, security, trust and the power to achieve. It also lessens the feelings of mistrust.**************Red. Although insurance records from many countries show that red cars are involved in a higher incidence of traffic accidents, Brazil and Ecuador are the only countries to forbid individuals from driving them. Optically, red advances, creating the impression that red objects are closer than they are. Red also physiologically gets the adrenaline pumping, so accident-prone red cars may say more about their drivers than their

visibility on the road. **************The

color red is very exciting...literally. Studies show that seeing red actually increases a person's heartrate. Perhaps this is why it is also considered the color of love. Red is also said to increase the appetite,

so it is often used in formal dining room

settings. Red is bold and beautiful, but be aware of its effects when decorating; it is a very energizing color. If you are decorating with red in a bedroom, for example, try toned-down or deeper shades, such as rose or burgundy. These hues still have the romantic feeling that red can induce, but in a slightly calmer tone.**************Red is a power color, often used to invigorate your environment. Red is an energizing color, it also enhances self-assurance and is used to stimulate and symbolize love and passion. If you want to be attention-getting, feel powerful and dominate - use red. Well, there ya go. Getting feedback on this very important aspect already. thinks the red rocks!

I really hate sounding critical, but you did ask for feedback. In my message, I had stated that if you're going to do colored handles, I would prefer blue rather than red. I should rephrase that by saying I would prefer a more subdued color other than the red.

I raise this point because I love everything else about the new Bullworker and I would very much like to get one, but I gotta tell ya, I find that red to be overpowering, and frankly, it just sort of jumps right out at me and knocks my eyeballs around. I realize you haven't improved the Bullworker soley for my benefit and that there may be others like who absolutely love the red handled look.

But if the colored handles are of such importance to me, they might also be a really big deal for others. Maybe you could post a message asking specifically what color(s) people would find appealing for the handles, and get a general concensus.

There's another factor to take into account re: colors. It's true that red stimulates, but exciting colors tend to lose their stimulation value after some time, and sometimes even produce a feeling of unease. That's why somewhat neutral shades are preferable for design, with small highlight amounts of bright shades. My vote would be for black handles with small amounts of red, blue or orange somewhere.

Whoa, trompy!

Now we're really getting into this color thing! Thank you for going through the effort of gathering all this info on the color red. According to what you've presented here, it could very possibly seem to a lot of people that red would be the ideal color for the handles, i.e., " Red also physiologically gets the adrenaline pumping " , " Studies show that seeing red actually increases a person's heartrate " , " Red is a power color, often used to invigorate your environment " , and so on.....

but then, there is also this, " but be aware of its effects when decorating " ....It could be said that the color of the handles is, in a sense, a " decoration " .

Anyway, I don't believe I have a favorite color. Blue just popped into my head as an alternative color I'd rather see. Again, I just personally feel that a more subdued color would be better than what I perceive as an overpowering red.

I also appreciate the fact that there are probably people reading what I've had to say who might think I am ridiculously hung up on this whole color thing and that I am making an issue out of a total non-issue.

We'll see. It will be interesting to see how many people feel that the color of the handles is a very important issue, how many feel that the color red is just perfect, and how many couldn't care less. Maybe there won't be any more responses to this at all.

I'm curious to the price range and if the resistance will be similar to the Bow Classic.

however like the old green handles on my early Bullworker and black handles also.Ultimately however its not the look of the Bullworker in terms of colour, but how it handles and feels in use co joined to its effectiveness.Handling is literally very important as it represents the interface between the user and the equipment in the sense for example handles that do not conform to the human hand are uncomfortable to use and discourage use rather than encourage it.I like the handles on the new proposed model.> > > > > > > > Gentlemen,> > Â > > I have attached a file...> > Â > > Looking for feedback.> > Â > > Respectfully,> > > > Bullworker> > > > > > Attachment(s) from > > 1 of 1 Photo(s) > > > > > > > > > >

All right. I need a new interior decorator. Who knew this was the spot to find one? ;-) I think we need another word for red... To: bullworkerclub Sent: Fri, October 29, 2010 3:32:45 PMSubject: Re:
