Guest guest
Wonderful! , you have come to the right place! I wish you continuing peace and happiness. I don't think we have levels. We are all trying to heal and be whole in one way or another. Jean Subject: Hello To: insideoutweightloss Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 7:53 PM I am not sure to what level I should make introductions, but here goes. I am and this is my story. I was never extremely thin, but I was just a little above average until I was in an accident back in 93. I was hit by a car and broke the tibia and fibula in both legs and both ankles were busted up. During the year I was laid up, I was told to get plenty of rest and plenty to eat. I took this literally and before I realized it I had blown up like a puffer fish. I gained over 150lbs. Every time I try to get rid of it, it seems like I gain a majority of it back because of things that seem to happen in my life. Eventually I gave up on the things I enjoyed and thought I would be alone forever. This year I have tried to make an effort. I started a diet program back in May. This program worked and I had lost over 30lbs, but I was still not noticing much of a difference. I was on the verge of giving up when I came across this podcast about 2 months ago. I started listening to IOWL starting with episodes back at the end of 2007. I have progressed into May of this year so far and I am learning ways that I can be more accepting of what I look like and strive, not to lose weight but to take better care of myself. I am down another 20lbs since I started. I am hoping I might get back to where I was before the accident early next year.
