I just read a new UCLA study linking OCD and psychosis, or rather

viewing OC symptoms as a " prodomal " symptom. However, as I mentioned

since my older daughter had symptoms of psychosis which seem to have

passed, I do not think such symptoms merit a label of schizophrenia

related spectrum at a younger age. I still wonder if the shake-up in

brain and body from puberty/adolescence just makes an OCD child

temporarily more unstable for awhile.

told that if it is external (outside of her head--hearing it the same

way she hears sounds) they are voices. If it is internal in her head

they are thoughts.  I was also told it could possibly be the

difference between OCD and psychosis.
