Guest guest
I am a new rehab practitioner. I try to do a complete eval on every patient but when it comes to muscle reflexes I seem to be all thumbs. No ploblem with sciatic and patellar reflexes. I understand the thought of putting the muscle on stretch and then using a limp wristed reflex hammer but for some reason, outside of class, I seem to be seeing a lot of patients with no response.( don't know why it seemed so easy in class) Since I have no classes in the near future to brush up on my technique, I was wondering if any of you seasoned professionals could give me some pointers, as I am certain they can't ALL have no biceps reflex. LOL. I appreciate the insight and the absence of volume with email so I can't hear you snickering!
