Guest guest
Hi I'm posting this to the group so that anybody else who is experiencing gallbladder problems (and there could by many) reads up on it before going under the knife. Please go to: http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=439 and read others' experiences with gallbladder removal. I'd personally do everything I could to avoid it. Once your gallbladder is gone, your bile drips constantly into your digestive system and can cause awful problems, for example, chronic diarrhoea. Bile is acidic and the gallbladder's job is to act as a reservoir for the bile, contracting and expressing the required amount to digest and metabolize fats when you eat. I think the gallbladder is highly underrated and disregarded by the medical establishment. It deserves more respect! Why take a functioning, healthy gallbladder out because of a polyp? I'm with you and find the turn-around in opinion of your attending physicians very dubious, indeed. Can they not monitor this, given the Hep C affiliation of possible future dangers, and assess the situation over time? The gallbladder is the first thing to be yanked, just like tonsils used to be, only to cause problems later. Be suspicious and scrutinize their rationale thoroughly. Just my .02 worth.
