Guest guest
Yes the body pees it out by increasing the BP. As long as there is exess salt the pressure stays up till something bursts, the heart or kidneys fail or the vessels rust till they block off. Tiped sad Send form miiPhone ;-)May your pressure be low!CE Grim MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertension If you eat too much salt, that is get too much sodium, then your body will pee it out. For those that have PA the salt is retained by the body causing high blood pressure, but also causing peeing out potassium and magnesium to help balance things out becasue with that excess sodium the body dumps other electrolytes in the pee to get back to the balance. So really doesn't have to do with the diuretic or how much liqiud you drink and not all diuretics make you pee more. Some do dramatically, like Lasix, but not all of them. Subject: Question on diureticsTo: hyperaldosteronism Date: Sunday, September 4, 2011, 8:37 AM I have days where I pee more then others don't see to be related to how much I drink. Does the amount of sodium change the way diuretics remove fluid?
