Non-abortifacient acting hormonal birth control??

My friend Royce Dunn of National Life Chain asked me if there is any new hormonal birth prevention product that claims to not act as an abortifacient. He has heard of this claim. Is it legit? Or, if claimed, does the claim rest on the proposition that life begins at implantation?

A pharmacist friend tells him that all the inserts admit to a thinning of the endometrium effect that inhibits implantation.

We would appreciate any information that sheds light on these questions.
