Guest guest
I am not sure if it is a vaginal smell from my daughter though, she just has a bad odour to her all the time, always has... -- Re: Is it a girl smell? I was just going to mention all these myself. Bladder infections/vaginal infections are common in girls, what suggested is right on line. Guest guest
Is it of sweet smell like of fruit? if so might be of diabetes If it is of odor like a perspiration of teens without deoderant, it can be of something chemistry is worng as my own son even before any signs of puberty are present such as when he was 6 he was size of 4 year old but he to have smells of teen person much strong come from hims. We have not been able to ever determine what to caused this very strong odor of hims. If it is of musty smell it can be like that of yeast although she might not be to have of yeast infection seen or with evidence she might be with it. Now one things true of me I to shower daily and yet sometimes I too have of strong urine odor of which I to lack knowing the source since I to be to wipe well and bathe daily with clean under clothings daily. I to get this much so during ovulations and or mid cycle. So this is the only source I to know of for cause of maybe the odor. I to forget teh childs age but also wonder if she is with much gas and so the gas is of trapped or fermented inthe urine so it gives off a bad smell too. I to had a child I to cared for in past with this. It was very strong dead fish smell enough to make me of to gag. Sondra
Guest guest
might add to that medications can do this as when was in the hospital not long ago to had such strong urine odor it to be to gagged me much to go but since to IV bag with constant drips of fluids to flush my system I to be to ahd so much to go to bathroom frequently and was more sick after to go from the odor of it. So from all the medications including much injections of morphine I to think it alter the urine so much to smell of this. Sondra
Guest guest
no other health issues with her no, She just has a diagnosis of Autism. She will be 5 in a few weeks. The odour isn't extremely bad, but it is there, and we notice it when we change her or if she is hanging off us etc. she is constantly running around the house nude so I don't know. she absolutly refuses to potty learn. My kids are in cloth diapers, we don't use any disposables at all. our detergent is Tide free so no odours there.. my other kids don't get stinky like that everyday so I don't know why she does everyday, it baffles me.. -- Re: Is it a girl smell? > >> > >> > >> > >> I was just going to mention all these myself. Guest guest
Yes, I'd be looking for a metabolic problem. Are you near a children's hospital or a medical treatment center that treats/monitors children with inborn errors of metabolism? Children who do not metabolize certain amino acids well, for example, can have very strange smelling urine and very strange and strong body odor.
