has a mild case of Psoriasis. I was woindering if anyone else has seen

this in ASD. I read on it, the T-cells are affected. Stress can bring it

on. Sunlight can help.

Well is getting a little stressed with the new school year and yes she

would rather be inside than out.

She only has it on her scalp and we're using a Tar shampoo for it. I am

thinking of triming her hair shorter but would that make it worse?

Any advise would be great.

Hi All!

I know I am a ways away from puberty with , but I am storing

knowledge for now. As hard as it is now, I dread her getting older. My

biggest challenge right now is getting her diet regulated and dealing

with her rough and sometimes dangerous behaviors, like bolting down the

icy street in her tshirt and pullup- oh, she did put on her shoes for

that one - I was greeting someone at the door. I am just plain worn

out. She doesn't like wearing socks, shoes and sometimes coats. So we

stay couped up a lot in the winter. I feel like we jip her 5yo brother.

I also struggle with keeping things on a schedule at home. They have

gotten her to do things at her school because of the small group doing

the same thing, that I never could. Her grandma and sometimes I, have

trouble with the fact that she won't dress up. First of all, she only

has her brother to copy, and I am not the most feminine female, and now

in a class of boys. My biggest struggle now is finding sitting for the

kids. Money is one of the issues and finding someone when we need them

is another.

This sounds like a great group, I am looking forward to knowing you all

better.

Anybody from St. /St. Louis area by chance? Or success on the

diet?

Dianna, I couldnt agree more about Sondra, she is indeed heaven sent.

However, my buddy Kassiane has been my savior more then once with what to do

with

Abby. They are very much alike with their sensory issues, both have the same

seizure disorder and since Abby is more of a Aspie they match real well. When

Kassi stayed with us you should have seen the two of them on the trampoline! It

was so funny. Kassi & I had some of our best conversations while she was

jumping on the trampoline. :)

I think that this whole group is wonderful and full of support. :)
