Guest guest
gail I to think stature is not from autism but more genetics. I to be of only 5.1 and my childrens are all much short from peers. I to know some who are much short like me too but have met some tall ones, for some though I to think diet interfers because of so much sensory that it thwarts growth in a huge way. My son who had also failure to thrive is now 12 almost 13 and he is so much tiny for boy hims age and is much thought to be only 8 or 9 by most who to sees him. My Missy who is 10 is almost equal in height to hims. Sondra
Guest guest
Hi Gail, As Sondra said, it is really a matter of genetics, but also nutrition plays a large role. My daughter was born premature and very tiny with little to no body fat. Her doctors told me she would probably always be small and sickly. I knew that was a bunch of baloney and proceeded to give her the very finest nutrition. The concoctions I feed her are a bit unusual but she gets more nutrition in one day than most kids get in a week. Consequently she is only 3 but is bigger and stronger and healthier than the 5-year old BOYS in her pre-school class. We are not short in my family but not particularly tall either. I think she will be taller than average primarily due to her excellent nutrition. > hi gail here, ebonys nanna, does anyone ever use the chat room? i > have been in a few times but is allways empty.could someone please > tell me if it is usal for children on the spectrum to be tall, ebony > is 2 and a half but is as big as a4yr old but very thin.ty from gail > > > > Autism_in_Girls-subscribe > ------------------------ > Autism_in_Girls-unsubscribe >
