Guest guest
Hello everyone! I have not been reading much b/c my husband finally got home after being gone for 3 mos (he left right before this all started for us). So it has been a whirlwind. We just returned from TCH in Denver where Wyatt had a follow up x-ray. I am floored. The doc is out and can't look at it yet but I got a cd when we left. I just put it in and I can't believe what I am seeing. I hate to get too high and optimistic b/c I am not a doc, but it looks like Wyatt's curve is decreasing. Both x-rays were taken while he was laying down and in the same supine position and there is a drastic difference. His curve in June was at 30 degrees, I have no idea what this one is, but it looks less. I am going to try to post it for your opinions. Has anyone heard of self resolving scoliosis when the curve is greater than 30? Or could it be the position he was in? I can't imagine that would make it less...thanks! I will try to upload in the photos Mom to Wyatt (almost 6 mos) 30 RVAD 27 Cobb
Guest guest
Oh , I pray this is this case for Wyatt. I know there have been babies where it did resolve, but I can't remember what the curve was before. Hopefully someone else will chime in that may remember.Keep us posted!TashaMommy of 4 year old twin boys- and Fort Worth, TexasSeries of 6 casts for 14 months and now in a night brace. is treated at Texas ish Rite Hospital. You can read 's story at....http://www.infantilescoliosis.org/stories.html--- Subject: Wyatt Schultz - UpdateTo: infantile_scoliosis Date: Monday, August 10, 2009, 3:27 PM Hello everyone!
