Premium Alert -- Update (Important)

Dear Subscribers:

This is important - please read in entirety!

The climate regarding the premiums in Pennsylvania seems to

bechanging. Senators

and even the Feds are taking notice – because they are

hearing from us. We must

keep up the pressure. We still have a chance.

Please call your State Senator TODAY or MONDAY and ask them

to put a call in

to either Senator Rick Santorum or Senator Arlen Specter

regarding the premiums.

Tell them that you are opposed to the premiums, and that you

want to know what

the status of the premiums is, and ask your senator to also

contact Senator , the Appropriations

Chair. All you need to say is -- " Can you please investigate

the status of the

medicaid premiums for families of disabled children with

Sens. Santorum, Specter

and . "

Here is the reason for the urgency:

Very shortly you will be receiving a " premium letter " [aboard

note: received

Friday, the 30th)in the mail from the Department of Public

Welfare. Some time ago the DPW filed

a waiver request with the Federal Center for Medicaid and

Medicare Services that

would clear the way for the premiums to be instituted.

Please stay tuned to AutismLink for further information. We

will update you as

soon as possible!! Special thanks to Woodings of PACAS

who has been at

the

forefront of the Premium Situation.
