Seeing as Igrip is new I geuss your using on a regular basis how often do you

use it and how long is the time frame of your work out ? Can you see your self

using this device on a regular long term basis or as a cross training tool to

supplement your genral work out ! Thanks !

> The Igrip is a pretty ingenious . The unit is lightweight (1.8 lbs) and pretty

compact: 8 " by 6 " by 2 " . In fact, it might be a bit too compact, as I found the

handles to be a bit awkward on some of the movements. If you have big hands,

this device might not be for you.

> The concept is pretty cool. The device measures force (in lbs) applied either

inward or outward as you push in or pull out. The instructions suggest that you

first determine your peak power for each exercise. This is done by exercising

without the timer being activated.

>

> This allows you to determine what 70% of your maximum force is for each

exercise. Now, when you set the timer for use, the device will show you what the

average force you have produced during the duration of the exercise bout. You

can set the timer from 5-20 seconds for each exercise.

> Over time then, you can determine if you are getting " stronger " in that you

can measure increases in peak force output. Not bad!

> Overall, a nice adjunct to the Bullworker. As I understand it, this unit would

function much like the Isokinator, but then again, I don't have an Isokinator so

this is purely from having watched a video of one being used.

> This unit would be pretty cool to toss in the suitcase on a trip and it is fun

to see how fast you can run up the force meter. However, like other small

devices, you can't really work your legs and the boys at the TSA might assume

you are trying to bring down the plane.

> I bought mine from Amazon.com and it came in about a week. $59.95 plus 4.95

shipping.

done something differently.
