Guest guest
I am a 55 year old male with hep c and scared of what the future holds. I own a modest home and have some money set aside in my 401K for retirement. My genotype is 1A and I did not respond to Peg-Intron treatment. I am working but as my health gets worse, I wonder what will happen when I can not work with my medical bills without losing my home or retirement fund. I looked at the SSI website and it looks like you have to be broke to be eligable. Are my assets safe for my retirement? Any suggestions?
