Guest guest
***crosspost*** I need to add a note/to my previous post on the manual Please note the original copyright of 1974, as well as the note on the front cover. The background information on HOW to teach and HOW to evaluate instruction is right on. BUT...if you look at the example programs in the back, in some cases, you may see the use of aversive techniques. This was fairly common in 1974. IT IS NOT NOW...physical aversives are NOT OKAY in instruction. Instruction is through positive reinforcement strategies, or more neutral/natural feedback that any kid would get. I have sent a note to Dr. Engelmann on this. Sincere apologies, Regina Frey
