Agree with this. I have them and love them. They are fun and give a very quick intense work out. I would recommend learning how to do the lifts properly and with good form before trying to juggle or play with them. They are a cannonball with a handle and will do as much damage if your are not careful.

I can't disagree with doing things properly but don't get too serious and lose the fun element. If you are going for strength with heavy kettlebells then Mike is dead right, but if you are going for flexibility and stretching with lighter 'bells you can afford to experiment ( or play!)  without too much danger, other than bruised toes and a few craters in your garden!
