Guest guest
Boy I hear you - every day I've said I'm starting over and every day it doesn't work out that way. I feel it is a question of routines. I am totally out of my normal routine and I know not to just throw in the towel - make as many good choices as possible - and I've done that for sure and then finally, embrace what I've learned from even more once my normal routine is re-established. My son is heading back to college today to see his girlfriend for New Years and I've got some mothering to do before he takes off - LOL. Happy New Year everyone. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. Guest guest
Why not work the changes meal by meal? One thing I've learned from listening to Rene's podcasts is that making the lifestyle changes doesn't have to start the next day if I overeat today. I've been doing a lot of self-evaluation before and after each meal and plenty of times in between! If I feel like I overindulged during one meal, I do a redo and then make a plan to self-correct by the next meal. It really keeps me on track. My long term goal is not only losing weight but that all my tuning in eventually happens subconsciously. Wishing you a healthy and happy new year! > > Boy I hear you - every day I've said I'm starting over and every day it doesn't work out that way. I feel it is a question of routines. Guest guest
Thanks, I like that idea of thinking about each meal before and after - probably during too - one thing I will definately do is start again with the podcasts - I was trying to listen to them during and through the hectic times and I think another run through is in order. Thanks very much for your encouragement. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
