Hi ,

I'm in Corona, which is near Riverside. Where are you? I have a 3

year old son also, who is not on the spectrum.

Hi Carolyn,

I have passed through Corona many times. I am in Ventura County, near

the coast. We have excellent services out here for and she is in

a great pre-school program as well. She is my only child.

Carolyn,

We have alot in common! I'm in Santa CA and have a 5.3 yr old

daughter mild/moderate autism. She too was diagnosed at 5-1/2 April

10 2001 to be exact. (funny the things you remember huh?).

Anyways, she's in a special day class k-3rd grade and doing pretty

well. Her verbal skills are improving all the time and I'm starting

to get some basic feedback from her about her day, like " We did

mousersize " " I play red ball please " when I ask what she did at

school. Not much, but better than just repeating my question!

I haven't been that active with this group yet, I recently joined but

have been swamped at home with sick kids, spouse, and then myself!

I'll be glad when summer is here! Welcome aboard. I look forward to

hearing more about you and your daughter.
