Guest guest
The other day there was an advertisement in our newspaper regarding Seroquel, which stated as follows: " Seroquel, an antipsychotic drug, has been linked to diabetes, pancreatities, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and even death. If you or a loved on have expereienced any of these health problems, call us now, toll free, at 1-800-The Eagle for a free consultation. We practice law only in Arizona, but associate with lawyers throughout the U.S. " Now, I realize this is a different situation than what those with LBD have, so I called them and asked if they had done any research into the use of Seroquel with Alzheimer's or Lewy Body Dementia patients and the possible adverse effect on those persons. The man who answered indicated he did not know of this connection and said if anyone had anything they would like to have looked into to write a letter to them explaining the situation, and they would determine if it was something they would pursue. It's also possible some of the LBD patients have had these problems but did not realize it was from the use of Seroquel. This is for informational purposes only, as I was not aware that there were other adverse effects from Seroquel such as those listed above, and I couldn't help but wonder if these attorneys were aware of the possibility of adverse effects on dementia illnesses. If anyone is interested and wants their address, let me know, or if you want to talk to them directly, the phone number is listed above. __________________________________________________
