My youngest son the one most rigid and affected by the aspergers is named Mikey. Well after reading all the good things here today got off the computer tot take ofhim to the social therapy he goes to weekly. Mike was so much chatty in real conversations of back and forth asking related questions and actually sharing things he found as humor and kept me engaged with him and we both were in much back and forths and really connected in words of real conversations this day as usually to get any thing from him of how hims day is, or what he is thinking, or interested in to do, is much a challenge. I to like of this list much so because I to love the children's of ASD they are uniquely special and so misunderstood. but my reasons for being here is much for teaching as it is for learning. I to also be mom to 2 girls one dx and one undx but felt to be with mild Aspergers syndrome. So I to be of here for them too. My missy is my baby of the childrens I to birthed and so much variety she to brings to our family. She is very high functioning in areas of ASD but is also with much LD issues and such so this complicated things some but also adds different perspectives to my life. I to like to play of mancala but Mike to likes to make rules as he to go that fits hims current need to win LOL but to me it is more for the interaction with him than the game. He is so much a quiet and reserved little guy. He is of age 12 1/2 and weighs only 67 pounds and is much short maybe 4.7 in height, more typical of a 9-10 year old boy in stature.
