Guest guest
Steve, Thanks for sharing your many hours of research. I really appreciate it. I'll stick with the regular Niacin as I sure don't want unpredictable flushing hours later, or liver damage and other complications. What I bought a month ago. is Solaray brand Niacin 100 mg capsules. I guess I'll start off with 100 mg just once a day with plenty of food in my stomach. I have gastro reflux and tomato juice doesn't agree with me. Sounds like if I have enough food in my stomach, the flushing, if any shouldn't be too bad? Thanks! Lor Almost all research has been done on regular Niacin so the benefits that are reported require regular niacin for any certainty. I have spent dozens of hours of online search time looking for evidence that any non-flushing version of Niacin would have the same benefits. All I found was speculation. In addition, from debates/discussions that have taken place in the sci.life-extension internet newsgroup, I have decided to avoid niacinamide completely under all conditions. The other form of no-flush niacin, Inositol Hexanicotinate, has some potential but few if any studies have been done using it.
