Please Clarify Re: Tremors and Hallucinations

April, it's very common in LBD for people to have tremors, since it

often has a related Parkinson's type of syndrome.

He could be having visual hallucinations without you knowing it - if

he isn't communicating about them to you. Have you seen some

indication of this? Sometimes someone will reach for something that

isn't there, or for example, my mom often is seen threading a needle

or finding threads that aren't there (she was a very talented

seamstress when she was well). She doesn't talk about it, we just

see her doing it. Not much lately with this odd improvement she's

had lately though, has not been having much in the way of

hallucinations at all.

In response to someone mentioning Aricept, etc, being drugs that

just keep the disease from getting worse for a while, I think that's

true in most cases, but with my mom we saw a definite improvement

for quite a while, so it might be in the timing of when the drug is

started related to the stage of the disease.
