Guest guest
Hi Diane........we used to use half and half........figured it was healthier than fake stuff......but now we quit coffee, since it can up cholesterol levels..(which we have a problem with)...now we stick with green tea, or chai sometimes. Make sure you read labels for partially hydrogenated oils:-) Jill What Does Everyone Use > What does everyone use in their coffee for creamer that is heart > healthy? > > > > > >
Guest guest
I figure I might as well use real cream, as we're looking at what, a teaspoon occasionally. And there really is no good evidence that it winds up on your arteries anyway. Certainly better than the hydrogenated stuff. We also drink green or herb tea in the morning; I get about a cup of coffee a week. Far better to have a little bit of something nice than a lot of something you don't even like. This way you feel satisfied and not stressed because you think you are missing out. I think stress is by far the biggest issue in heart disease, and if you can reduce your stress levels it is much healthier. Anyway, what is the point of living longer if you feel miserable and deprived all the time ? Moderation in all things, regards Carolina
