The worksheet is great, Tony -- you did a fantastic job, and I really want to thank you for it! It's going to come in very handy!RonnTo: bullworkerclub Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2011 1:06 PMSubject: Isokinator Basic 7 Exercises Worksheet Ulpoaded to Files

Isokinator Basic 7 Exercises Worksheet Ulpoaded to files Section

I've just uploaded to the files section an exercise worksheet for the Isokinator based on the BASIC 7 exercises described in the CURRENT Isokinator manual. Hoping this helps.

Glad you liked it. I might also do a worksheet on the Exercises from Ye Olde

Englishe Isokinator Pocket Exerciser Manual. ly, despite Cliff Ks

remonstrations, I didn't see anything wrong with the Iso-K PE exercise manual

and Bert MuscleDesign's Youtubes seem to be based on it. So go figure. Let the

marketplace decide as they say.

Tony,

As far as I understand, Cliff was not criticizing the exercises in the manual,

but the explanations of the training.

Actually, I was very confused about their use of the term " exercise " and " sets " .

On page 13 in the manual, they distinguish between Fitness, Athletic and Rapid

Training. Under " Athletic Training " they recommend: " Increase the number of

repetitions from 2 sets to 10 sets of exercises " . This is really nonsense,

because you should never do 10 sets of any exercise, this would cause

overtraining. 7 exercises, each done in 1 or maximum 3 sets of up to 10

repetitions in each set is all you need.

Also the advice " Complete each exercise in just 4 seconds " (same page, under

" Fitness Training) is misleading, if you think that you should hold the

" powerblock " for only 4 seconds, then release it, and then build it up again for

the next exercise of 4 seconds. What they probably mean: each REPETITION should

take about 4 seconds, but do up to 10 repetitions in one set and keep the

powerblock over the entire set, until you can't do another (11th) repetition.

You are right, Bertie uses some of the alternative exercises shown in this

manual, but he does them in the correct way and he does them as alternatives,

not as additional exercises.

Jens:

Thank you for your comments. I think you've demonstrated how important it is to

have a clear and precise comunication. The importance of language is so critical

in conveying the proper usage of the Isokinator.

Even with a manual supposedly written by an English speaker, there are some

murky and confusing areas.

That's why I think it would be so AWESOME to have DVDs or YouTubes showing the

proper Use, Form, and Posture when using the Iso-K.

IMHO, a good Youtube is worth a million words.

I love to see Gert and/or Cliff ought make a set of " home made " Youtubes

demonstrating the Basic 7 Iso-K exercises.

They should really take a good hard look at ' Youtubes and his SAH 90

Day DVD.

I'm quite happy to stick with the original 7 basic Iso-K exercises for the time

being. However if anyone wants me to, I'd be happy to make an " Alternative "

Iso-K worksheet based on whichever exercises are deemed best by a " selection

committe " comprised of your good self, Bert MuscleDesign, and perhaps one or two

other Iso-K " experts " .

Namaste,'
