It should be remembered that in France it is rather unusual that a client pay in less than 60 days, sometimes 90. Bills are simply shelved in most companies for at least 60 days. I usually start calling on the 91st day. There's nothing to be alarmed about for the moment, but you might want to make it very clear that you expect payment by a particular date. That rarely works though, unless you have good relations with the person getting your bill through the accounting department. Most large companies could care less whether you need the money or not. Sorry to be so negative, but French businesses have some very unhealthy habits when it comes to paying.
