My child 95% of the time would much rather play with her barbie dolls and

watch Tv, and gets very upset if you try to interrupt her schedule. All our

kids are different, and if your child is trying to interact, that is

wonderful. My daughter sometimes shows that she wants to interact, only to

find, that she can;t understand what they are doing or saying.......so she

just merrily goes off and does her " own thing " I find this more and more as

she gets older, as her peers are talking about music and books and etc etc,

and she just has no idea, as she doesn;t have those interests.........she is

9 but thinks as a 5 year old, and maybe this way all her life, though i am

hoping and praying as she gets old, she will slowly mature, even if it is 6

years behind her real age. all the best, CherylS
