Guest guest
--i Ray I am new to this board, and haven't been on here much due to Christmas and shopping etc, work and all. Just read your post. And wanted to say I can appreciate how you feel. My own daughter self injures quite badly (split her head open about 2 inches a while ago) and she will attack us if we interfer and try to prevent her from hurting herself. I am still nursing a bruise on my leg from a bite from my daughter which happened in March. So my best wishes go to you and your family. They took him to St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ and admitted him to the Emergency room and then psychiatric section. He was strapped down by arms and feet to the bed. This morning I told him he would go to another hospital and then come home....he was in tears but nothing I could do (I was in tears as well...couldn't help it). He will go to Trinitas Hospital this afternnoon at the child DDD center in , NJ. I called Kennedy-Krieger Institute to let them know and hope they can get him in soon. > > This is a lousy Christmas but then over the years I haven't really enjoyed the holidays.....more like looking to them with dread, what with being home and having aggressions. > > Ray > > > > > -- > DEFINITION * TREATMENT * PREVENTION > Autism is 1 in 150 children today, 1 in 68 families!
