Guest guest
I am desperate need of a iep goal that is written for a 8 year old that need to learn math facts. the problems is we has taught her math facts with flash card drills. she . her rote is very good. Teach at school taught her touch math which was good for learning to count and add. then they started math facts sheets . now she she will not use her re call from rote for math fact . she trying to count backward with the subtracting math facts. she missing 70% of the problems on the math sheet. We are hoping that we can correct this by re-teaching her to use her rote with math fact for recall with addition and subtraction math facts. I am trying to suggest at the next iep meeting. a goal that will be written like a drill using flash card to re- teach her the math facts . I think that will help her more then she can use the correct information on the math work sheets. the touch math worked for her counting but is causing problems with the rote recall math facts. anyone have goals of math fact drill that i might use as a Iep goal which then will be taught to her by the school staff. in DDT fashion . if i use the word DDT at school I get no where in the meeting. please help . I am terrible at writing a drill my self that can be measured. Sue
