Guest guest
Hi all Our little boy, age 4 (almost 5), has been stimming on noises, I think. It started with toilet flushing. He has added flipping the washing machine lid up and down, flipping the toilet handle, climbing on the washer and banging his feet on it to make a booming sound, turning on the bathtub faucet, and pressing a button on a few of his toys over and over. I know it sounds like the little guy has too much free time on his hands, but his day is full (will be fuller once I get some new therapists on board--again). Anyhow, I'm afraid it's turning into an almost obsessive compulsive thing due to some things I've noticed with the toilet flushing (and his almost looking like he feels relief after he flushes it!). He is nonverbal and receptive language is poor. Any ideas what to do? At first I thought it was a toilet flushing, water is cool kinda thing--now I'm thinking it more has to do with the noise of it all? Thanks, Holly
