Guest guest
I have had open heart surgery 5 years ago. I have been on Lipitor for 5 years since. I have had many of the side effects decribed on this web site. I didn't realize they were related to taking Lipitor. I stopped taking Lipitor about 6 months ago and nearly had a heart attack. I went to a heart doctor,( I recently had moved), and he wasn't at all pleased with me about stopping the Lipitor, I got back on it and have suffered severe muscle pain in my left hand and arm. My eyesite is fluctuating between good and bad until I am unable to get my prescription for contacts written. My poor eye doctor is not aware that this is probably associated to Lipitor. I have quit taking Lipitor again and am being very cautious. I am drinking concord grape juice and taking fish oil capsules. I don't want to sacrifice my heart, but I must try other things. It has been about a month since I quit the lipitor.olsen4666 wrote: from another web site: I am unsure of the veracity of the claim/request of this person, though am intrigued...... "Hello, My name is Sunshine Mugrabi and I'm a freelance reporter and mid-career journalism student at Columbia University. I'm working on an article about statins which I plan to pitch to major news organizations. I'm looking for people who would be willing to talk to me about their experiences taking statins. I'm particularly interested in speaking to those who have stopped taking statins, either due to adverse effects or any other reasons. Please contact me directly at sunshinemug@.... Feel free to pass this on to anyone who you think might be interested. Sincere responses only please--no solicitations. Guest guest
Try taking serrapeptase to work on clearing plaque from arteries. I've been on for about 9 months now, I take 0ne 60m IU capsule every day. I've also not had a cold in all that time, there are sinus benefits to serrapeptase as well. This article points out that people who have already had a heart attack have a higher mortality rate when they have low cholesterol. http://www.acc.org/media/releases/highlights/2003/dec03/cholesterol.htm --- dorothy mcrey wrote: > I have had open heart surgery 5 years ago.
