Guest guest
We have been unable to teach many of the next skills on our daughter's ABBLS. She has a strong spontaneous mand repertoire and can tact and receptively ID over 600 items. She has good intraverbal skills and is beginning manding for information. She is in her 4th year her program and we are adept at the transfer procedures and have effective reinforcers. All of the skills we are struggling with seem to have a common skill we have been unable to teach - that is being able to verbalize multiple responses about the same item or group of items. As examples: She can tact a duck, and receptively ID which duck is big and little. But cannot answer the question " what size is this? " She can sort items by class and answer the TFFC " which one is clothing? " But, cannot tact a group of four clothing items as " clothing " She can answer : Name a fruit, but cannot learn a subsequent unique answer. If she learns banana for instance she will never again answer apple. Incidentally she has also never been able to discriminate touch, point, give for receptive commands. Are we missing something? Suggestions???
