Guest guest
" And when they find that shiny red-handled miracle that is the new Bullworker, then all bets are off! " What " miracle " ? A Bullworker or Steelbow (which I own) is a nice piece of equipment to use when you're short on time. Absolutely love the convenience. It also makes for a nice adjunct to regular exercises. As a standalone? Sure, why not if your goal is to get a little muscle " tone " . But, it isn't a " miracle " ...if you use a Bullworker or Steelbow, you're going to get more efficient at using a Bullworker. You won't lean out with a Bullworker...you need to get on a tight, cutting diet like Mr. Hughs did. Where are the transitional pictures, like the Beach Body (P90X, Insanity, etc.) boards or Turbulence Training, depicting Bullworker trainees going from flabby and out of shape to ripped and athletic? (BTW, The Whammer completed P90X, Insanity and some of the more advanced Beach Body programs--in addition to a Bullworker--at age 52 or 53, plays hockey in a +30 league in Canada and is a firefighter...he's posted his before/after pictures.) We saw at least one of fitness models that uses on his site and in the DVD is a weight lifter. And those two fitness booth-babes from the Arnold classic picture posing with & Schwarzenegger weren't Bullworker trained. Those early Bullworker ads used a gymnast...he certainly didn't use a Bullworker to get ready for his work on the rings or floor exercises. And we don't see the military's elite, SWAT teams, pro football teams, etc., using a Bullworker to get their trainees in condition for their jobs or chosen sport. Ross Enamait, a trainer in Connecticut who preps elite boxers and MMAs--the same guy Shenandoah wrote the glowing endorsement for, may use a Bullworker for adjunct exercises but it isn't what he uses to get his athletes ready. Lets keep things in perspective: the Bullworker and Steelbow products are both high quality, well-made products. However, they both use a finite ROM and in some cases don't work well with the body's natural planes. Guest guest
Quite right, Ed. I don't recall anyone here stating that they believed Spence had built his physique by exclusively using a Bullworker. I had simply remarked that he had a great physique, unlike a lot of today's bloated, steroid ridden competitors. Personally, I think Mark Spence is reminiscent of the bodybuilders of the 50's. > > > > > Spence has a credible natural physique unmarked by the horrible > > > drug bloat that has now become standard in many areas of body-building > > > with the exception of natural organisations that both test and have a > > > zero tolerance for drug users.Ed > > > > Anyone who thinks Spences physique is the result of Bullworker > > training and natural didn't ever train in the same gym as him > > > > ATB > > > > > , Spence has a credible natural physique and certainly does not look like a drugger to me.However I do not believe that he is Bullworker trained{nor have I suggested it} as he is merely modelling for the product.Out of interest have you trained with him as you imply.I have also known quite natural people train in gyms where drug use was widespread but would not like to impute guilt by association.Just wondering.Ed >
