I guess one could look at that if the Autism is Genetic, however for those

who are Vacinne induced......

Our is almost 11, PDD nos ASD. And our younger 2 Daughters, NT are 9

& 3. We have not had them " tested " as they didn't show any ASD traits that

had.

Also upon reading about ASD genetic, it appears that it can happen in the

first child and the fourth. But as is genetically our 3rd child, we

lost 2 pregnancies before her, that also eliminates Genetics. She is our

first-born though. And her traits didn't show until 16 months when she

stopped walking and talking.

is our most quietest calmest child, if we would have had our 2nd or

3rd daughter first we might have never had anymore children!

I have a friend who's first born is an autistic girl, second child

is a NT boy, third is a NT girl. I myself have a NT boy first born

and a autistic girl second born ( will be 5 on 2/4), none after

her.

Does this help you at all??

I also know another family inwhich the first born is a NT girl,

second borns were a NT boy and a autistic girl twins.

My almost 3 yr old daughter is autistic (verbal and social, but with

verbal and social delays!) She has a 5 year old NT sister and a 3

month old baby brother. He is different than her as a baby (She

gave fleeting eye contact and was tough to make smile or laugh till

around 4 months) However, I doubt we'll be sure about him till 2

1/2. She fooled alot of professionals and us until that time. I'm so

glad we didn't have a diagnosis until after the baby was born,

because I'm not sure we would have thought having another wise (our

daughter's therapy schedule is so involved, how could we give her

enough attention, etc) Her siblings are amazing for her. She is much

more interested in relating as a result of her sibs, and I really

think her play skills and language have been advanced by her sister.

She also loves her baby brother and relates to him. 15% chance seems

high. I wonder where they get their numbers?

Some similarities here too. My daughter is our first born

but it was the 3rd pregnancy for me as well I lost the first two or

should I say 3 because the second pregnancy was twins. So maybe it's

right she would have been our 4th child.

Ohhh I've got goose bumps over here.

--- Actually is my first born , but I had 2 ectopics before her.

She was the easiest baby in the world! So easy that I tried for my ds

6 months later. They are 15 months apart. But all hell broke loose at

about 16 months, she was super hyper and tantrums all day. Everything

changed for the better when she was able to speak and she was in full-

time daycare. That was the big turn around because she started

modelling the other children, so not only her speech did a 100% turn

around but her behavior improved as well.

i think you are misinformed about genetics and position in family. why are some

children affected by vaccines and not others? a genetic predisposition to

autism.
