My liver doctor is refering me to Denver General. He says Im at a high high risk of bleeding to death. Keeping it is out of the question. Guest guest Posted March 18, 2002 Report Share Posted March 18, 2002 To All Concerned About Diabetes; I have Steroid-Induced Diabetes which is Insulin-Dependent Diabetes Type I. This means it is directly related to taking prednisone on such a long term. Then my prednisone was reduced gradually until I'm down to 2.5mg.
