Guest guest
put my family Dr. on the " good guy " list. wouldn't mind genetically altering my neurologist though.... There's a shrink I see every couple of years.... " Janet is an unusual personality. She is a fighter and has had to have been. She goes to great lengths to educate herself fully about her conditions including use of the Internet and contact with others. She is also quite obsessive and thorough. " -- I think he has a pretty good handle on me my family Dr never saw Autism until he saw he thought my Aspergers was Schizoid Personality Disorder but at the time AS was not in the DSM he has been willing to work with me, to learn, to back me up in the end I respect him and what more could one ask for? -jypsy At 06:59 AM 9/23/2003 -0700, you wrote: >O.K., we'll keep that one. Guest guest
Jeannette that is absolutely horrible - the guy should be shot... I am not surprised having experienced similar treatment, but offer my hugs to you.... bastards! > if it around your period time, have you tried pamprin? I found it incredibly effective, especially in combination with the migranal spray. for years I would take 1500 mg of tylenol and 600mg of ibuprofen and go to bed in a dark room and would be able to sleep it off, but these eventually turned into migraines, with or without headpain. hope it is better (I am few days behind reading the list) dani Sandi wrote: > Jeanette, > I am appalled at the treatment that doctor gave you. :-( For the > headache, > have you tried plain asprin? Guest guest
I used to take Inderal to prevent migraines, then Cafergot to stop a headache (50mg of caffeine every half hour for three hours). Then I would take Demerol as a last option. By the time I got through the whole regiment of drugs I still had a headache and was shaking uncontrollably, but I didn't give a damn. I also spent a lot of time in dark quiet rooms. I haven't had a migraine since I moved away from the Pacific Ocean. I really miss that ocean, though. I also practically live on psuedophedrine to keep sinus headaches away. Louis In my house, " normal " is only a setting on the dryer. From: danielle strom Jeannette that is absolutely horrible - the guy should be shot...
