Make sure the person doing the test wipes your skin clean with rubbing alcohol to ensure good conduction of the impulse. My gym tell me not to eat or drink 6 hrs before the test and not to exercise 12 hours prior to it. I have had results vary, one time the were the highest in over 2 years! I asked them to do the test the next day and it dropped more in line. I have them take the impulse reading three times to make sure the numbers are consistent. Ask your gym if you can retake the test if you feel it's lower, BUT DO NOT be discouraged if it's still close to 22%. Kirk Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
