Aching joints?

Hello to everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your New Years celebrations!

It occured to me today that some of you may be able to help out with advice

on s aching joints. At least, that is what I think is going on. He

has been complaining over the last few weeks, mostly during the night or

first thing in the morning, that various parts of his body hurts, always near

a joint. For instance, his elbow/ forearm, his knees or his ankles. I don't

think there is any connection with 'growing pains'.

Could this be indications of early signs of arthritis or similiar? His

immunologist has told my dr that he expects to have a high chance of

autoimmune diseases developing in the future, and this has prompted me to

wonder if arthritis could be the problem here. Of course, I could be

worrying for absolutley no reason! It may just well be coincidental, and

nothing so serious.

I will be glad when he is a few years older and able to tell me in greater

detail what is going on! In the meantime I have to try to piece together

all the symptoms that he will let me know about, in order to present them to

his drs. It is alot easier with now she is 5 !

Enjoy your day! It is nearly the end of the 1st Jan for me over here in

Australia. We spent the day at the beach, and kite flying! What a way to

see in the New Year!

Having read something on a discussions board on the net, I am wondering if

joint pain is simply another side effect of having a PID? Is it a common

thing with the other pumpkins?
