I noticed that no one answered your question about PurKrill oil. What type

of oil is it and what is it for?

Thanks,

PurKrill Oil

Dear ,

Do you know if this oil breaks down in the body to some of the same

compounds as evening primrose oil like perilla oil did?

Hi ,

No this would be different from EPO, which contains primarily gamma

linoleic acid (GLA), oleic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid. The

krill oil contains DHA and EPA, so most people take both together to

get the synergy. I would definitely give the krill oil a try for

. She sounds like she really needs the EFA's.

I buy mine at the pharmacy,I'm in Montreal, Canada, the company name

is Lalco and each softgel capsule contains 500 mg's of krill oil and

150 mg's of omega-3 fatty acids. She takes 2 a day. It could be

coincidental but I swear she has lost some of her " traits " since

starting it.

---Sorry, no I don't but the krill content in mine is 500 mgs

pertablet, so she gets 2 a day. I pay $25 Canadian per bottle of 40.
