Guest guest
Hello, We have had a few recent client inquiries regarding how often we completely change the water in our UWTM. We have had, to my knowledge very minimal, if any skin/eye problems. What is everyone doing out there? Once a week...more, less? Also, is there a web site consumers can visit to read articles, and post questions specific to health related issues for horses? FYI-there was a question posted a while back about a Great Dane, named Misty with a " fused elbow " . I began seeing this very sweet dog and am greatful for the referral. Her cervical fracture/SCI has left her with horrible extensor spasticity in the right forelimb. She does have very limited elbow flexion, due to adhesions of the capsule (for quite some time now) compounded by soft tissue adaptive shortening, in the elbow extensors. Her scapula is practically glued to her rib cage. Just thought you might like the update. Thanks, le Robbins, PT, CCRT _________________________________________________________________ Your Hotmail address already works to sign into Windows Live Messenger! Guest guest
hello, I don't change the water a lot. My UWTM has a big sand filter and a few skimmers. Each day we have to control the chloor and the PH level. Guest guest
I only change mine once a month or so. It never really gets dirty. I keep the PH, ALK, and chlorine levels are perfect 95% of the time. Though sometimes I have a dog that urinates or defecates in there and I will drain the treadmill and replace the water. I have had no real problems yet that I can say were related to not changing the water. I have been doing this for about 6 years now and the only problem that I have had is dogs that don't move around much in their cages and never really get completely dry. In that situation I have seen a few staph infections. > > Hello, > We have had a few recent client inquiries regarding how often we completely > change the water in our UWTM.
