Guest guest
I have a 9 year old Wiemaraner that has mild to moderate carpal hyperextension form a chronic injury. There is no pain elicited and the dog is still very active. The dog has also has mild hind end paresis so there is increased stress on the carpi. I am wondering if anybody has any recent success with rigid braces as i don't know if a neoprene wrap will be enough. Having said that if anybody has had any success with the wraps with some extra support I would like to hear about it. I am thinking of the canine icer carpal wrap to try with rigid support. Thanks for any thoughts.-- Jeff Bowra DVMCertified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner26841 Fraser HighwayAldergrove, BC, Canada
