Guest guest
Hi Everybody! Here's a question for you! I have a young client in elementary school who is really coming along in regards to her ABA program. The ABLLS is finished, conversational skills are improving. However, we have identified two skills we'd like to teach that would help with her overall socialization. The first is " humor " ... teaching her to identify it and react appropriately. The second is " drawing conculsions " when conversing or reading. I have a few ideas on how to teach these skills, but I'm sure this has come up in others' programs before. Can you please share your experiences in teaching these two skills? Thanks in advance, Amy E.
