Just for your info. Comfrey is a plant that usually will grow near the different

poison; as if God in his wisdom knew better. The rash is caused by contact with

an oil (urushiol) found in poison ivy, oak, or sumac. You could take the leaves

of the comfrey plant and wipe it over the area that the oil has touched your

skin. It would ease or help you not get the rash and the itch. Maybe that's why

the gel worked so well.

I have to tell you! My husband managed to brush against some poison oak this

past Saturday. He noticed it that night and we immediately put some comfrey gel

on it. A good portion of the bumps were gone by the next morning and this

morning you couldn't even tell he had it! Even I was amazed at this one! He

never used any caladryl or any type of other lotion...just the comfrey gel!

Hi, I'm new to the list. I haven't gotten the program yet. I decided to

the gel? Also, what is the difference between the LifeLift and body flex and

oxycise? I have gotten the body flex program in the past and didn't really

Hello Wanda,

It is great to hear from you.

This is one reason the comfrey works so well, it is also because of the

Aloe-Comfrey combination. The healing properties of both plants are

extraordinary. I used some last night on a bug bite and I was once again amazed

at the healing properties. It seems to be the only thing I have found that

actually soothes and heals this way.

Hi Holly,

I have no idea about psoriasis and the comfrey/aloe gel -- one of the few skin

conditions (psoriasis) that I've not had! It certainly can't hurt to try,

though.

However, the LifeLift exercises are absolutely gentle and you can do them at

your own pace -- if you can't execute any part of it, you just do what you can.

They can be done standing, sitting, lying down, etc., etc. I think (from what

I've read here on this forum) that they are much more gentle than either oxycise

or BodyFlex -- and I don't see any reason that you couldn't work around your

arthritis -- much of their " power " comes from the breathing/lifting, not from

the exercise itself (correct me if I'm wrong, Rashelle!)....

Welcome to the group!

Thank you Bonnie. I can always count on you to send a great message. You are

correct in your comment that the " power " comes from the LifeLift breaths, not

from the movement of the positions.

As usual, you are right on!

Hi Holly,

I too have psorisis. I haven't had a flare up in over 5 years though, although

I do know it stays in your system always. I do know that psorisis is not really

a skin problem as much as it is caused from problems in the digestive tract. I

believe that Lifelift can help in that area, as the breaths alone help with

digestion. Just as a side note, the last time I had a flare up I used Head and

Shoulders shampoo on my legs( the area that shows up with sores ) every time I

took a shower and it seemed to help it to clear up pretty quickly.

Hope this helps.

DESENSITIZATION--one small step at a time!! Have someone with her for a

minute, until she can tolerate, then up it to 2 mins, etc. Start with someone

she is familiar with and then slowly add in others.

Hi,

Yup the little girl is coming up with all behaviors that works for her- to be

alone.

My 2 cents being the mom of a 10 year old with autism:

You could probably use being alone in the room for a few minutes as a reward.

Everytime she complies to your request, she could be sent to her room for a

specified amount of time. And overtime she should begin to enjoy what's been

presented to her.

Hope that helps,

Suman
