My son, diagnosed ADHD with sensory issues and auditory processing issues

just completed a course with them. We are located in Denver where the STAR

program is and we love it. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable

(primarily with sensory issues) and it is head by Lucy who is at the

forefront of sensory processing disorder research. My son (4.5 yr) loved it

there and thought that he was playing the whole time. It is pretty

intensive (3 d/wk for several months, then 2 d/wk) so it is a time

commitment and pretty pricey. I think the best part was the parent

information and help we got from our therapist. All of that being said, we

may be going back for a 2nd round, my son is doing better with the sensory

issues but is still struggling with the auditory processing. I highly

Our school district (, TX) is just starting to use it--my son is 3 and

they have gotten level 1 and 2 for him and will " borrow " within the district

for the splinter level 3 skills he has. He really has caught on quickly to

the penny reward system for his work tasks.
