Rhonda you to not be to offend me at all but one thinked I was to be to

thinked people were of laughing at me but wasn't just was wanted to tell

others to not laugh at me when I to share certain words because I to lack

exposure to them not because I to be of intellectually impaired and to me

much do not mind the laughs inthe ways others here have been to share their

laughs to my ways and such as they were of being honest but did not degrade

me in the process. So this is of okay.

I am pretty sure we can get our ASA chapter to sponsor a speaking

engagement if we can convince Sondra to come up here. :)

Of course, I'LL have to be the one to find the location and make the

arrangements, and I'M going to make Pennie help me with it all!

Aw nuts! I wanted to bleed and rage (That is a joke!).

I can promise to not rage. I cannot promise to not bleed. I will do my

best to avoid those things which are likely to cause me to bleed.

little man almost yes, just skipped the whole childlike stages. you jump

professional, you said so. like on trapoline, yes.

Bleeding on carpet? This confuses me somewhat. did the carpet bleed, how so

you make the carpet bleed? No, you bleed and spilt yourself on the carpet, may

But fair warning, Sondra and I have very different styles =)Kasiane

Kassiane, not thinking we have different styles but we are at very different

places on the spectrum. You IQ is 150 or so and my to be only 86, You

reflect more of maybe and Aspergers where I to be of a HFA a form of kanners

but higher level of functioning ability. You to be very articulate with a

large vocabulary of complex words , where I to struggle. I to have multiple

learning disorders, and limited life exposures, where you have not.

But, I can create poetry where this is sill is an struggle for you. I to be

of married and to have children were you have not come to this place in life

yet.

So in true not different styles but different places in life.

You promote self advocacy but in true not many with ASD that I to know can

do this yet in life without the parental guidance. Many I to know are not

able to be as verbal to express their own wants and desires, but this is not

saying those with Aspergers or very high functioning peoples should not

learn this technique of self advocacy, but I to not promote a one size to

fit all things. I do promote advocacy though, with the observations of the

child, in letting the Childs needs rule the route that is taken for the the

IEP. So not different really but the fact is my work leads me to children at

various ends of the spectrum and this brings many very different experiences

in life. I to be of one who was working with ASD children's for over 8

years. I to also be to parent children on the spectrum so from this angle I

to be to feel my exposure brings very different views of the ASD. I to be to

put much emphasis on my inner experiences of my own ASD in my work as well.

I to have strong memory of things in life even before words and so can be to

express it now as adult. My language was of delayed and did not speak until

about age 3 1/2 years of age and then had much issues in the expressive

parts for many years after this. to be aware that my autism is more

pronounced than most of my therapeutic group and this do be to bother me as

I to be much want to be like others to just be able to blend at most but in

true have learned the blending is of good but does not leave a true

expression of me. So have learned to be me and learning it is of safe to be

of me so this is half the battle in my life.

I to have come to a greater sense of acceptance in many ways to so cure

things do not offend me anymore as I to not see my self as broken anymore,

This is my personal choice to allow self to be in life as I to be, and do

not let outside influences to dictate to me my need of a cure or things of

that , but on same thinking I to think it is another's personal choice to be

to seek this for thems child if this is what they choose to seek. The best

thing is it is okay because it is not me they seek to change but thems own

child so this needs to be respected. Many things flood the net and are there

for peoples who are seeking it. We have choices, delete it, comment on it in

regards to personal views without attack and move on, because it was not a

thing directed at me, but to thousands of people who might be to seek the

information's

So is it bad things that we have come to life with different experiences and

or exposures to bring to a speaking event, just because we to both have

label of ASD does not mean our views will be all the same we are different

because you are kassiane and I to be Sondra TWO individuals who happen to be

challenged by ASD at very different levels.

Now, who from Autism_in_Girls wants to come to the Detroit area to

I would love to be able to do this!! I have a very good friend who

lives in Detroit too so it would be even better to get to spend some

time with her. I guess it will all depend on the date.

Kassiane happy to understand you had same thinking, but you choice of

different style meant something different to me and so needed much to

understand and to now know we are of same in understanding the term of

different :)

It is often good to get very different perspectives on the same disorder, I

to use the word disorder because the D in ASD stands for that although I to

know you do not be to see you self as having a disorder> I to respect that

so was to be of clarifying.

Why not have an autism in girls conference and have issues mostly be focused

on he girls version of ASD???? this would be a new things so we can show

that ASD is much more prevalent than the books to say. I to doubt it is

1:4-5 girls to be with ASD in compare to boys. I to think maybe it is more

of a 3/5 ratio just my thinking on that. We can even call it Autism in Girls

conference and maybe to do this annually with pulls of grants and such if

much states participate and such and each state to find a funding source of

some sort and such we can do this. many states have Departments of

Disability councils that offer funds to families to attend such conferences.

If we to be to do a 2-3 day conference we can be to have speakers to come

from all over the states and I to think much would be of interest in that

sort of focus? Including much psychologist and such.

As a child I was probably alot like your nephew, Juli. I started with

sentences, too.

I bled on the carpet at Pennie's house when I visited her. A small

rodent critter bit me, and I did spill myself on the carpet. DEFINATLY

not a stim, I dont like to watch myself bleed!

Sondra, I'm glad we both know what the other meant now.

I think it is excellent to get different perspectives. I also think that

if you wish to consider your autism a disorder, I respect that, as you

respect me preferring the terms difference and condition.
