Guest guest
Hi Meche In each case I would use a different word with a similar " meaning " : " Visitas de exploración " , " pruebas de chequeo " ....Indagatorio would not work in Spain, but I guess chequeo might not be OK outside Spain :-) By the way, could you and others send your messages in a format which does not ask for web conexion?. For those without permanent conexion to internet ( everyone who does not live the usa, I assume) this is a real hassle.... I guess this is due because you write the message from the web site... Does anyone know how to resolve the problem? a *********** ********** ********* etheridiom@... eidiom@... I use " indagatorio " : " pruebas o exámenes indagatorios " . I wonder if there is a more precise equivalent. I have seen: " chequeos médicos " o " consulta de preselección " o " chequeos preliminares " but neither one satisfies me. I still prefer the term " indagatorio " . Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot.
Guest guest
-----Mensaje original-----De: Traductores Logus Enviado el: miércoles, 08 de marzo de 2000 9:18Para: medical_translationegroupsAsunto: Screening Could anyone help me with the equivalent term in Spanish for " screening " , as in " screening tests " , " screening examinations " , " screening visits " ? Guest guest
Meche: En la mayoría de los casos, estos términos se traducen como pruebas (o evaluaciones) de detección o de selección, según el contexto.
