My wife would have these symptoms when her blood pressure would spike

suddenly. Hers would come on suddenly while at rest and taper off

within about half an hour. Have you checked your BP while the

numbness was occuring? Have you had hypertension problems?

> I have something just happened to me twice this week For some

reason my toung and my lips got a bit numb has this ever happened to

anyy of you good people. I most likely will ask my doctor in the

morning. would appreciate anyone's input on this. friends wayne.

When my tongue and lips become numb and tingle, it usually means I am having

a low blood sugar!

Welcome to the board Anita! I hope you're able to find answers to

your questions here. I did notice that Klonopin is a Benzodiazepine

medication - and not to scare you, but in the " Files " section there

are warnings about Benzodiazepine - you may want to read about them.

; loving daughter of Maureen of Boston, MA; finally diagnosed

with LBD on 2/06 after also being diagnosed with everything from AD

to Vascular Dementia caused by mini strokes to Binswengers...; was

victim to rapid decline from Risperidone (or combination of

Risperidone with other drugs OR possibly received another " bad drug "

when she was observed/tested in a hospital in 10/05); in a NH since

11/05. Update: on antidepressant Celexa, 20mg (still teary, but not

as weepy) and as of 4/21 on Exelon.

I asked my pharmacist about Joe's medicine (Klonopin) this morning

and he said since Joe was on such a low dose he didn't think it

would cause the problems we are having. He recomended that Joe stay

on the medicine to keep the RBD in check and we can talk to our

neurologist about it on our next visit.

Hello,

I have a question for the group. I have been in alot of pain, mostly

my back since April of this year. I am unemployed, no insurance,

therefore no doctor visit.

I am trying to research what could my pain be due from. I have all the

symtoms of Fibromyalgia, but it could be a number of other illnesses

also.

Does anybody in this group have Fibromyaligia or suffer from chronic

muscle pain? I would like to know what your symtoms are so I can rule

out the thought that I may have Fibromyaligia.

Thanks!

Amy

Hi Amy

I hope you can find some kind of help with your back.I went 5 yrs with

insurance and not 1 dr would touch me cause i was operated on in a military

hospital so i know how you are feeling with not being able to get help for your

back.If you need help trying to find a free clinic in your area please let me

know and i wll help you searching for one.I wish our govt would get like

britians free medical for everyone.

I can understand the pain you are in i also have degentive disc disease

scolios and joints and muscles are deterioting .I have heard from others that

spurs on the spine are very painful.I am so sorry that you are in pain and cant

get help.So i take it you are not taking anything to help the pain except

probably overthe counter stuff right??I can also try and help you find out what

to do give me few days amy and we will figure something out.I just need to

know the closest big city you are near

Hey Darcy,

I am in Ohio. I will hopefully be working before too long and will have

insurance but for now, I need to get some kind of treatment before I crack.

Thank you for your empathy. And yes, you are correct, the pain could stem

from somewhere other than my back.

I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease and also have bone spurs on my

spine, but I really don't think that is what is causing the pain. The disc

disease is just starting and the bone spurs on located along my spine in the

upper region of my back. My pain is mostly lower back, neck, and arms. It's

almost like having really weak muscles.

I'll figure something out. Thank you for your help.

Have a good day,

Amy

We need to see each other's suffering as our own.
