<< le,

I just read the week's postings (because things have been crazy), and

I am not sure if any of 's urinary or gastro problems are

similiar to 's. has periodic urinary tract infections,

but the thing that is the worst is that she has to go to the bathroom

all the time! We can't go to the grocery store without her having to

go at least once, often two or three times. It makes going anywhere

with her very challenging - you always have to know where the

bathroom is located! Then there are the gastro problems. She is

sick to her stomach often - especially after she eats. She is either

constipated or she has diarrhea. There does not seem to be such a

thing as a normal bowel movement for her. If you have any ideas, >>

Have you seen a peds gastroenterologist? Ours is Dr. at LCPH at

Stanford. HE just published an article where is listed as a case study.

If you send me your snail mail addy I ll send you a copy. Working with the

gastoenterologist we were able to help with his accidents both bm and

bladder. We still have them but we have come a long way. Id highly

reccommend seeing a PEDS gastro and urologist. One of the things they sent

us to do was biofeedback and it really helped:)!!

Are you using Peg-Intron or Pegasys?

I was told recently that with Pegasys the sides don't

hit most people until about the 2nd month, but with

Peg-Intron the sides hit you right away.

I started my Tx about a little over 2 weeks ago, and

so far things haven't been too bad. My pain problem is

not being able to sleep through the night. As a result

I have extreme fatigue, and really have to push myself

to get through the work day.

Comments from anyone else re how soon their sides

kicked in, Pegasys vs. Peg-Intron?

I'm using Peg interferon alpha 2a + Copegus tabs. I also had trouble

sleeping. My doctor prescribed Trazodone and Ambien as sleep aids.

Thanks for this post. It is yet another example of how effective isometrics and adherance to a disciplined diet can give us all the body we want.

It seems none of them gained any lean mass though, i.e. no muscle growth.
