Guest guest Posted May 8, 2011 Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 Wow, 11 hours and 30 minutes of exercising this week and not a pound or inch lost, oh well, at least I'm not gaining Date Day Day Video Slim in 6 Rotation – Week 1 Date Day Day Video(s) Notes Min 5/2/2011 Mon 1 Get Moving Mix Fat Burning Basics Morning - needed something light to both wake me up and not irritate my boo-boo points this morning. 20 New Start It Up! Evening - interesting, Debbie introduces the pink bands in this Start It Up! And added an extra 10 min 34 WW Walk At Home DVD - 20 Minute Walk Evening - surprisingly fun! This DVD has two 10, a 20 and a 30 minute walk, as noted I chose the 20 minute. At first I thought it was going to be too beginner and told myself that I would use this week more of a recovery week, since last week I didn't do much recovery last week. I'm looking forward to doing the other lengths 20 WATP Express - Advanced Walk - 3 miles Late evening - that was fun and it used the stretchy band, easy on my joints and hopefully tough on stored body fat 45 Date Day Day Video(s) Notes Min 5/3/2011 Tue 2 Get Moving Mix Toning Morning - very, very beginner, too beginner for me but maybe during a recovery week or when I really tired but still want some sort of exercise. 20 6 week six-pack level 1 Evening - that was challenging, I can't evening describe the moves but standard ab moves and crunches are not here. There are burgees, plank variations and mountain climbers for cardio plus standing and floor abs. 35 WATP - Walk Strong Late evening - I march in place while explains the moves, I really enjoy this walking tape. Note, this is the one where she uses dumbbells or her weighted balls, WATP Express -Walk Strong uses the stretchy, I think WATP - Walk Strong is the better of the two. 30 Date Day Day Video(s) Notes Min 5/4/2011 Wed 3 Get Moving Mix Cardio Dance Morning - a light morning workout 20 Old Start It Up! Evening - I'm feeling the burn from 6 week and/or the New Start It Up! Somehow this seems harder than the new version even though there is no resistance definitely more squats and lunges. The arms are held out more here on the old version 25 ETV - Walk and Sculpt Evening - maybe this DOMS is also due to yesterday's Walk Strong, my upper body is smoked, LOL. 40 Date Day Day Video(s) Notes Min 5/5/2011 Thu 4 WW Walk At Home DVD - 20 Minute Walk Morning 20 New Start It Up! Evening - so I'm thinking to try to do only Slim in 6 as my base, I want to give it a fair chance by doing a Slim in 6 workout everyday for the full six weeks. I must say the stretch at the end of new version is much more comprehensive 34 ETV - Walking Cardio Shape Up Late evening - Chris Freytag does it again! This is an interval training " walk " that using hand weights for the sculpting segments with her favorite move…push-ups. It ends with floor abs and a really nice almost 5 min stretch 45 Date Day Day Video(s) Notes Min 5/6/2011 Fri 5 WATP - Power Walk Morning - one of 's 1 mile workouts that uses her weighted balls, good for a mile morning walk. 20 Old Start It Up! Evening - this still gives my arms…next week is going to kick my butt a burn 25 WAH - 5 Mile Advanced Walk Late evening - did the 3 Mile with Hand Weights option, only one of the three mile had the weights but it was fun. 45 WAH - 5 Mile Advanced Walk Late evening - did the 4 min stretch, this is not part of the 3 Mile options . 4 Date Day Day Video(s) Notes Min 5/7/2011 Sat 6 WATP Express 4 Mile Walk Challenge Afternoon - I thought all of the walks in this series used the stretchy but this walk didn't, I'm okay with it though. Unlike Debbie Rocker's 60 min walk I was waiting for this walk to end. I used my Tone Ups so that may have made my lower body feel it more but over all this was what I needed today with my allergies completely out of control. 60 New Start It Up! Evening - Ok, still not bored. In the past I would already be feeling the dread factor already, this old/new rotation may work. To keep things interesting I might also alternate weight with resistance bands or tweak the calendar say next week alternate Start It Up with Ramp It Up then do one week of only Ramp It Up! We'll see 34 WW Walk At Home DVD - 10 Minute Walk Late evening just thought I'd prep for Slim & Limber by trying out this walk. This is not an intense walk by any stretch but was pleasant 10 New Slim & Limber Late evening - time to relax. Oops I was supposed to do this every day during my first week, hmm, will have to do better going forward. Any this is one minute longer than in the old version, very thorough. Debbie hits the same body parts but some of the stretches are done in a different way. The guy in the background is kind of cute . 15 Date Day Day Video(s) Notes Min 5/8/2011 Sun 7 WATP Express 1 Mile Easy Walk Morning - since today is supposed to be a rest day I chose this walk and it is as described, easy and exactly what I wanted. The use of the stretchy band is short the moves are mild but my blood flow increased a little and I don't feel like a sloth . Used my Tone Ups for a little more umph. 20 Cool It Off! Late evening - I finally did the full length stretch/recovery workout and boy did I need it! This 57 min workout is so complete, I really, really need to be better to myself and do this once a week, at a minimum do Cool It Off!
