teaching possessives and pronouns

Hello, I just started working with an 8 yr old boy and we are trying

to teach him possessives and pronouns. He is somewhat vocal though he

needs to be verbally promted a LOT to get him to speak. The consultant

originally tried working with names to teach him possessives:

ex: what's your name_____

what's my name_____

but then she thought we should say " what's my name? " and have him

answer w/ his name and " what's your name " and have him answer w/ our

name because that would be what he would say, but he doesnt seem to be

understanding.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or tools that they could

share.
